Did you miss me? Because I missed you.

It's strange how time works. I can still remember the walks I took during lockdown and the exact podcasts I listened to back in 2020. That feels like yesterday. But do you know what feels like a lifetime ago? This podcast. I’ve been gone for seven months, but it feels like seven years. When I first took a break, I felt so much guilt. Now? None. Breaking up with you was exactly what I needed. I got to explore who I was without you, and now that I know who I am, I’m ready to be in a relationship with you again. Will you take me back? I can be the thoughtful, optimistic, organized woman we both know I can be.

Over these last seven months, I’ve lived, I’ve laughed, I’ve loved. Without you. I’ve gathered so many stories, gossip, and lessons—life lessons, of course. And oh my God, I am beyond excited to share them with you!

We’re doing things a little differently this season. We’re no longer flying by the seat of our pants. We’re almost 30, for crying out loud! I’ve planned this season down to the last detail.

If you’re wondering, “WTF is ‘The Hot, Sexy Overshare?’” it’s the newsletter I’ve been threatening to release since I started this podcast. In conjunction with POV You’re My Therapist, The Hot, Sexy Overshare will be released every Saturday (for subscribers) and Monday!

It’s not just going to be a recap of the podcast—definitely not. It’s a lighthearted extension of the conversation. For example, the coinciding newsletter for the episode on “Return to Conservatism and the Sex Recession” includes me giving you $100 and a long list of personality traits with their prices, and you have to build your perfect partner—and subsequent divorce. Like, you get the vibes.

Starting tomorrow, you might notice some changes. New artwork! I’m so proud of it, seriously. A brand-new, stunning set, too! I worked so hard on both of these. This season is already recorded! <3 There’s so much to look forward to this season, and honestly, I haven’t been this excited about the podcast since Season 1, which is both thrilling and, admittedly, a little sad to say. A part of me wishes I could scrub Seasons 2 and 3 from my memory!

Lastly, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for being on this journey with me. It hasn’t been easy—God knows I’ve complained enough about it—but your patience, care, and kindness have not gone unnoticed. So many of you reached out during my hiatus just to check in, and I am so incredibly lucky to have you in my corner. I love you—deeply and dearly.
